WELCOMEThis will be an exciting year as celebrations for Manitoba’s 150th birthday take place across the province! This year, MLC 2020: Where the Rivers Meet will take place from April 6th to 7th at the Delta Winnipeg Hotel. We have many exciting speakers, sessions, exhibitors and events planned for you and your colleagues. Following MLC, the CFLA-FCAB National Forum 2020 will happen on April 8th. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to join your colleagues from across Canada to attend MLC and National Forum! Please peruse our pages to learn more and don’t forget to check back often for news and updates! A special note about our logo: The MLC and National Forum logo was created by Relish Branding, a Winnipeg company. The waves represent the confluence of the two rivers, the Assiniboine and Red, at The Forks/La Fourche. The Forks/La Fourche was an important historical meeting place in Canadian history, where people from Eastern and Western Canada would travel the rivers to meet in central Canada. The Forks/La Fourche is still a popular gathering place today for tourists and locals, with shops, restaurants, patios, and local buskers. The waves in the logo also represent the pages of an open book, with the blue above and below representing both the covers of the book and the notion of ‘looking back’ and remembering our history while ‘looking forward’ to a promising future. | BURSARIESWe are able to
