A special note about our logo:
The MLC and National Forum logo was created by Relish Branding, a Winnipeg company. The waves represent the confluence of the two rivers, the Assiniboine and Red, at The Forks/La Fourche. The Forks/La Fourche was an important historical meeting place in Canadian history, where people from Eastern and Western Canada would travel the rivers to meet in central Canada. The Forks/La Fourche is still a popular gathering place today for tourists and locals, with shops, restaurants, patios, and local buskers. The waves in the logo also represent the pages of an open book, with the blue above and below representing both the covers of the book and the notion of ‘looking back’ and remembering our history while ‘looking forward’ to a promising future.
